Tumble Jungle Preschool
Shellie Bates

Shellie grew up in St. George, Utah and just loves the red rocks of Southern Utah. Teaching preschool is her passion and spends many weekends planning new fun ways to teach her students. Shellie believes that a positive preschool experience is the foundation to success  in elementary school and wants every child to develop a love of learning. 

 

Shellie is the mother of 4 kids and married to an amazing man. She loves to take her kids on adventures around Utah and across the U.S to expand their minds and help them learn about themselves and others. She loves anything caramel, especially when mixed with chocolate.  Shellie loves to read, do crafts, travel and play games. 

 

Shellie loves teaching preschool at Mountain West Gymnastic Academy and has seen the benefit of adding gymnastics to her preschool curriculum through the growth and success of her students. 

Rachel White

Rachel has loved dance and tumbling ever since she took her first lesson at three years old.  She has over 4 years of teaching experience and loves to help her students grow into the best version of themselves. Currently, she plays rugby for Weber State University while majoring in criminal justice.  

When Rachel is not teaching, she can be found watching baseball, traveling with her friends or eating pasta. 

Laura Duncan

Laura graduated from Salt Lake Community College in 2013. She has worked professionally with children for the past 6 years. She enjoys distance running and competing in local races. Other hobbies include cutting and styling hair, J-fashion, and attending concerts and plays.  She lives in North Salt Lake with her husband and three children.

Lexi Noorda

Lexi has a great passion for finding and helping each child’s individual strengths and talents grow. Building a positive, creative, and all around fun experience for her athletes and students is something she strives for and tries to bring out in her teaching.

Lexi grew up in Davis county then went to Dixie State for college. She was studying to get her Early Childhood Development degree.
